Solar Energy | | Date Added: March 14, 2010 04:57:46 PM | | I am the Chairman of Wadebridge Concern for the Aged at The John Betjeman Centre, Southern Way, Wadebridge. We have over the past 12 months secured a £16,000 grant and with a further £16,000 gift have installed a 5.04kWp Solar PV system and are producing our own electricity from the sun. We will be saving 2.3 tonnes of carbon dioxide emmissions each year, in addition to saving money. This Friday the 19th of March, at 10 am we are holding a presentation to show the public what we are doing to help save our planet. On behalf of the committee I invite you to attend in order that you may report on the occasion.Members from, "Plug into the sun" will be taking part. After the presentation there will be time for questions and refreshments. I do hope that a representative will attend. Would you please report this as a forthcoming event.
