NEWQUAY GOING FOR GOLD 2009.Newquay’s participation in the South west in Bloom competition is only weeks away and the pressure to perfection in so many areas is daunting. However with your help and that of our partners Newquay Town Council ,Cornwall Council and Serco we are confident we can retain GOLD for 2009.The Bloom committee would like to thank the many residents who have already been weeding outside their homes and pavement areas, putting up hanging baskets and window boxes. Thank you also to tradespeople who have committed to the Traders Hanging Basket Scheme in these difficult times and those businesses at Treloggan for keeping their grounds so manicured and tidy. However we need more to participate if we are to succeed and gain Maximum points.

Please everyone help Newquay to retain it’s GOLD AWARD by keeping your area weed free and to notify us if there are problem areas with Graffiti and /or Litter. It is a win, win situation for us all if the town has a cared for appearance. Check out our web site.
