Lottery of Childless Married Couples

From the 1st February 2009, and without much media coverage, the new figures for dying intestate increase (the rules governing the disposal of a deceased estate where no Will has been made). This has generally been accepted as well overdue and is welcomed by many. As with many of these types of changes there are winners and losers, the problem being that many people do not realise they have lost until it is too late.
